For prevention and treatment of inflammatory and infectious diseases of the oral, throat and pharyngeal cavities such as: sore throat, colds, hoarseness, swallowing difficulties, tonsil inflammation (tonsillitis, angina), inflammations of the oral mucosa (stomatitis, thrush, aphthae), inflammation of the gums (gingivitis), pharyngeal catarrh (pharyngitis), laryngeal catarrh (laryngitis), for prevention when there is danger of grippal infections.

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and children over 6 years of age should allow one lozenge to dissolve slowly in the mouth every 2-3 hours.

neo-angin® throat lozenges are effective against almost all gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria which occur in the oral and pharyngeal cavities as well as fungi and yeasts. The exceedingly rapid bactericidal effect deserves special emphasis. In addition to the antiseptic effect, menthol has pain-alleviating and secretion-restricting effects on the mucosa.
Through the properties described above neo-angin® combats and alleviates the symptoms of inflammatory catarrhal infections of the mouth and throat. It is well tolerated and has a pleasant flavour.
Based on years of experience, a reduction of the effect against various pathogens is not to be expected.
