Composition:
Active agents:
2,4-Dichlorbenzylalcoholum 145.8 mg, Amylmetacresolum 29.2 mg, Mentholum 8.7 mg in a 10 ml solution.
Adjuvants:
Aniseed oil, essential peppermint oil, ethanol 95%, propylene glycol.
Characteristic Feature
The agent is active against a broad spectrum of gram-positive bacteria, but also against yeasts and infections of mycotic origin. It features an especially fast bactericide (bacteria destroying) effect.
Indication
The remedy is used as a spray for the prophylaxis and treatment of inflammatory and infectious diseases of the oral and throat cavity and the larynx. It is used for sore throats, common colds, hoarseness, difficulties in swallowing, inflammations of the mucous membrane of the mouth, gingivitis, pharyngitis and as a supplementary measure for the treatment of tonsillitis. The remedy is intended for adults and children from 12 years of age on. Pregnant and lactating women may only take the remedy after consulting their doctor.
Contraindication
Patients who are hypersensitive against an ingredient of the remedy as well as patients with chronic laryngitis of the atrophic type may not use the remedy.
Unwanted Side Effects
The remedy is without side-effects but there might be allergic reactions of the respiratory tract or the gastro-intestinal tract which may show as fever, shivers and diarrhoea.
The use of the remedy must be stopped and a doctor has to be consulted immediately if unwanted side-effects eventually occur or if other unusual reactions occur.
Interactions
No known interactions with other remedies.
Dosage and Mode of Application:
If not specified by the doctor differently, children from 12 years of age on and adults use one dose (that is pushing the nozzle twice while inserted into the mouth as deep as possible and aimed on the aching spot) up to six times a day. The remedy can be used for 2-3 weeks without consulting the doctor.
Hint
Consult your doctor about the simultaneous use of neo-angin and other remedies. If your condition or the symptoms of your disease do not vanish within 7 days or even worsen or if unwanted side-effects or unusual reactions occur, please consult your doctor about continuing the use.
If overdosing or unwanted use by children occur, you must consult your doctor.
Storage:
Store at temperatures up to 25°C. Keep away from the sun.
Warning
Do not use the remedy passed the expiration date printed on the package. The remedy has to be secured and stored out of reach for children.
