Enzymes are proteins which are involved as biocatalysts in the controlled course of almost all metabolic processes in the body. A demand exists for the endogenic defense mechanisms and digestive processes. Enzymes help with the utilisation of the ingested food and activate the degradation of not needed metabolic products. The natural vitamin E within taxofit® Enzyme + Vitamin E Dragées has as an antioxidant a positive effect on cell metabolism and reasonably supports enzyme functions.

taxofit® Enzyme + Vitamin E Dragées contain the natural enzymes from pineapple, papaya and Aspergillus oryzae. By adding enzymes to your food you can help your body to supplement the endogenic enzyme production. The endogenic production of enzymes depends on the individual metabolic situation and on age. In general, enzyme production diminishes from 30 years of age on.

An increased demand in enzymes and vitamin E especially exists in times of strong physical demands such – e.g. with negative environmental influences, stress, non-balanced food and strong physical demands. This is especially the case in persons with an imbalanced diet of who are put on a diet, when it may come to a under-supply in enzymes and vitamin E. People who passed the age of 50 do in principle not have a higher demand but do not consume enough of those vital substances due to changed eating habits.
