With taxofit® A-Z 3-Phase Chrono Depot® Tablets, you make an important contribution towards supplying your body with vitamins, minerals, and trace elements. The demand for these essential vital substances cannot always be covered with our regular daily diet. This is due to the fact that a large portion of the vitamins and minerals contained in our food is lost during prolonged periods of storage and/or improper preparation. Thus, for instance, the vitamin B6 content in vegetables is reduced by up to 50% when they are frozen, and prolonged cooking will often destroy 100% of the vitamin.

Individuals whose diet is poorly balanced (fast food or weight-loss diets) or who consume unhealthy substances (alcohol, tobacco) are especially likely to develop a deficiency in vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Similarly, adolescents, as well as pregnant, breastfeeding, or menopausal women, and individuals who sweat profusely (e.g. during sports activities or physical labour) also have a higher demand for vitamins, minerals and trace elements, which often cannot be covered appropriately. Individuals beyond the age of 50 years do not actually have a higher demand; however they tend to consume insufficient amounts of these vital substances due to changes in their dietary habits. Consequently, these vital substances have to be supplied to the body on a regular basis and in sufficient amounts with our daily diet.

In order to ensure efficient absorption and utilisation of the vitamins and minerals, the vital substances contained in the patented taxofit® Chrono Depot® Tablet are released in 3 phases, based on the latest state-of-art knowledge in chronobiology:
• one instant phase plus two depot phases, during which the vital substances are released at different rates.
• Vital substances that adversely affect each other in the process of absorption, such as magnesium and calcium or copper and zinc, are released in different phases whenever possible.
• Vital substances that affect each other in a positive way during the process of absorption, such as iron and vitamin C, are mostly released in the same phase.
• The time of release of an individual vital substance depends on when it can be expected to be well absorbed. Thus, for instance, magnesium, lutein, and Q10 are released instantly to ensure quick availability. Other vital substances such as folic acid, vitamin C, and selenium are released over a period of several hours in one of the depot phases to achieve a demand-specific long-term supply.
• Furthermore, a particularly effective absorption and utilisation of the vital substances during all 3 phases is ensured by an additional ingredient - “citrus bioflavonoids”, a so-called “natural absorption aid”.
