taxofit® Joints plus ultra Chrono Depot Tablets supply your body with 11 vital substances for your joints at high dosages (i.e. in highly concentrated form). These vital substances are of essential importance in keeping the joints healthy and functional. The joint cartilage and the synovial fluid (“joint grease”) are often exposed to high amounts of stress, particularly in older and/or obese individuals, in some sports activities, and during physical labour.

taxofit® Joints plus ultra contains a special combination of vital substances to meet the demands of healthy joints. These vital substances are particularly important for the joint cartilage, which has to bear a great deal of stress, and for the synovial fluid, to keep the joints healthy and functional. These beneficial effects are mainly due to the high-dosed vital substances glucosamine sulfate (750 mg) and chondroitin sulfate (100 mg), which are known as natural building blocks of healthy joint cartilage.

The demand for essential vital substances in the joints cannot always be met with our regular daily diet. This is because a large portion of the vitamins contained in our food is lost during prolonged periods of storage and/or improper preparation such as overcooking, warming over, etc. Thus, for instance, the content of vitamin B6 in milk is reduced by up to 50% by heating or prolonged exposure to sunlight.

Elderly or obese individuals, as well as those who put excessive stress on their joints in sports activities or during physical work, are particularly likely to have an increased demand for vital substances in their joints. However, a deficiency may also be caused by a weight-loss diet or other imbalances in a person's nutritional habits.
The human body cannot produce most of the vital substances contained in taxofit® Joints plus ultra Chrono Depot® Tablets, and has only limited capacities for storing them. Consequently, these vital substances have to be supplied to the body on a regular basis and in sufficient amounts with our daily diet.
In order to ensure efficient absorption and utilisation in the body, the joint-specific vital substances contained in taxofit® Chrono Depot® Tablets are released in two phases, based on insights gained from the science of chronobiology. This special Chrono-Depot® technology has the following benefits:

- Vital substances which may have a negative impact on each other with regard to their absorption, such as copper and zinc, are released in two separate phases,

- The release pattern of these vital substances is thus more demand-specific. For instance, 750 mg of glucosamine sulfate, 100 mg of chondroitin sulfate, copper, and selenium are released in the instant phase to ensure quick availability. The other joint-specific vital substances (e.g. zinc, manganese, and vitamin E), however, are released over a period of several hours in a special depot phase to ensure efficient long-term supply.

Dosage recommendation:
1 Chrono Depot® Tablet swallowed whole with some liquid with a meal. Particularly recommended in case of excessive stress on joints (due to work, sports, or old age).
