Bedan® Face CreamFacial care for dry, sensitive skin, e.g. for neurodermatitis
Bedan® Face Cream is a very skin-friendly oil-in-water (O/W) emulsion that was developed jointly by experienced dermatologists and scientists. It has been designed specifically for the needs of the particularly sensitive facial skin of adults and children with dry, allergy-prone skin with a tendency to itch.
Bedan® Face Cream is suitable for the daily care of neurodermatitis, amongst other skin conditions.
St. John's wort for the skin
The use of St. John's wort as a treatment for skin problems dates back at least to the ancient Greek physician Hippocrates (c. 460 BCE). In the Middle Ages, it was also used externally on burns and scalds due to its special properties.
By harnessing traditional knowledge and combining it with modern methods, the Bedan® Skin Care Concept with St. John's wort was developed to meet the special demands of sensitive problem skin.
Bedan® Face Cream contains a special St. John's wort extract. This important constituent of Bedan® makes the skin more resistant by strengthening its barrier function. Ingredients in the St. John's wort have an antibacterial effect and are able to reduce inflammation.
The possible increase in photosensitivity reported with St. John's wort preparations taken internally (sugar-coated tablets, capsules, teas, etc.) and caused by the ingredient hypericin is not to be expected with Bedan® Face Cream because the St. John's wort extract developed for Bedan® does not contain any hypericin.
Panthenol and allantoin are another two naturally occurring ingredients in Bedan® Face Cream. Panthenol improves skin regeneration and increases its elasticity. Allantoin ensures that the skin stays supple.
Natural oils from avocado and apricot kernels as well as shea butter protect the skin from dehydration and give it a pleasant skin feeling. Vitamin E enhances the skin's natural resistance to environmental factors that can cause premature skin ageing.
Bedan® Face Cream provides the sensitive facial skin with moisture and freshness.
Itching is noticeably reduced.
Bedan® Face Cream does not contain any preservatives and is free from perfumes and colourants.
Bedan® Face Cream is applied to the face morning and evening after cleansing. The cream is absorbed well and leaves a protective film on the skin.
If necessary, Bedan® Face Cream can also be used as a make-up base.
Besides Bedan® Face Cream, the Bedan® Skin Care Concept also includes Bedan® Lotion, a basic moisturiser for the whole body, and Bedan® Cream, an intensive treatment for dry, inflamed skin or eczema. The very good skin compatibility is achieved by the use of selected skin-friendly raw ingredients. It is clinically and dermatologically confirmed for all the products.
The Bedan® Skin Care Concept is also ideal for children and is only available from pharmacies.
Do not store above 25°C.
The St. John's wort extract in Bedan® may show slight natural colour variations. This in no way affects the quality of the product.
