With a comprehensive corporate design relaunch, developed and implemented by the branding and design agency Radikant, the Klosterfrau Group has adapted its logo in line with the motto ‘tradition meets modernity’ just in time for its 200th anniversary this year.

The focus of the reorientation is on the careful modernisation of the iconic Klosterfrau logo, which has shaped the company's image for around 100 years. With its new corporate design, Klosterfrau is strengthening its visual identity as a traditional company and positioning itself as a brand with a clear vision for the future. The aim of the rebranding was to give the nun logo and word mark a more modern look without losing the historical tradition that has defined Klosterfrau since its foundation by nun, pioneer and entrepreneur Maria Clementine Martin exactly 200 years ago.

The Klosterfrau blue word mark incorporates the nun's bow in the characteristic ‘K’, and the logo now shows friendlier nuns and straighter lines – ideal for print and on screen.

“Tradition and trust have always been core values of the Klosterfrau Group, and our aim was to translate these values into sustainable corporate communications”, says Dr. Stefan Koch, CEO of the Klosterfrau Group. ‘The new corporate identity creates precisely this connection between tradition and modernity and strengthens our brand for the years to come.’
