2026 Award Winners: fembites – “By women, for women”
From more than 20 suitable applications, three finalists stood out in particular. The Maria Clementine Martin-Award was presented to Jana Deckelmann (biologist and food economist) and Angelica Conraths (entrepreneur), the founders of fembites.
fembites’ mission: “By women, for women” – with the vision of supporting every woman at every stage of life in the way she deserves. The nutrient complexes are developed in close collaboration with experts in fields including gynaecology, endocrinology and nutritional science; they are based on natural ingredients, are sugar-free and contain no unnecessary additives. “We are consciously taking a different approach: we consider women’s health from the perspective of the female body – evidence-based, cleanly formulated and suitable for everyday use. For us, this award sends a strong signal: women’s health is not a niche topic but deserves exactly the attention it is finally receiving. It is a huge honour for us to receive this award,” Jana Deckelmann continues.

Finalists for the 2026 Maria Clementine Martin-Award: Innovations addressing common, challenging everyday issues
Alongside fembites, two other projects reached the final – each with very different focuses, yet highly relevant to many of those affected:
- Endo Care (not founded yet): Nicole Bucher is developing a nutritional and hormonal program for women with endometriosis. The aim is to alleviate hormone- and inflammation-triggered symptoms – such as cyclical pain, bloating or digestive problems – through personalised nutrition and hormonal data.
- HistaFood: Ana Hansel (founder) offers organic food and dietary supplements through HistaFood that have been specially developed for people with histamine intolerance. She aims to make it easier for those affected to follow a low-histamine diet and to make low-histamine products the new standard in the retail sector.
